Sam wasn’t expecting him to be there when she opened the door, but then again he was always there for her, so why should now be any different?

Teal’c.

Stoic.

Strong.

Sam didn’t think she would have been able to survive their situation for even this long without him.  It had taken a long time for Sam to break down to the point where she needed company from anyone on board, but when she had, Teal’c had been her first and only choice for solace.  He was her rock, and as she saw him standing before her, offering silent support, she once again accepted his comfort as she had a hundred times before.  Their relationship was one of circumstance and mutual need, but as someone once said…love the one you’re with.

So she did.  Samantha Carter fell into Teal’c's embrace as naturally as water flows over rocks, and it was a long time before either of them let go.
