Mother Hen
Author’s Note: This one was written for Lady D, when she had a cold last year.

“Daniel, just take them.”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“They make me sleepy.”
“You’d rather be coughing and sneezing all over the place?”
“Yes, actually, I would, thank you very much.”
“Well, I don’t think I can take many more of your sneezes. You’re going to blow someone’s head off!”
“I don’t care.”
“Please take the meds, Daniel?”
“I told you, no.”
“But Daniel…”
“Whining is not going to work.”
“Well, then take them for me. As a favor.”
“You know you sound like my mother.”
“You can call me whatever you want if you just take the meds.”
“Sure thing, mom.”
