Birds of a Feather

Rodney, to Daniel, concerning Shep: “You know, um, he could’ve been in Mensa.”

You act like that’s a surprise and it’s all I can do to keep quiet.

For someone so smart, you can be so clueless, Rodney.

Of course I know that.

I’ve read the personnel files of every member of the Atlantis expedition.

And Sheppard’s? I’ve read his countless times. I was very involved in the original personnel selection for this mission, if you recall.

But even if I’d never met him and was completely clueless as to Sheppard’s past, I’d know that your colonel is smarter than he looks.

After all, I served with one just like him for years.
